The National Service-Learning Conference programming is so extensive, it's been said that each attendee gets his or her own personal conference. The diverse array of events, learning and networking opportunities, and activities allows participants to design experiences tailored to their specific needs. Conference Features
From the Welcome Celebration to meetings and gatherings for groups with common interests, learn about the conference's many special events.

Workshops and Thought Leader Series
Conference workshops and the thought leader series exemplify the tenets of service-learning: service, experiential learning, academic integrity, and authentic youth engagement. Choose from more than 100 sessions led by national and international experts.

Preconference Sessions
Preconference sessions are intensive, 3 hour - interactive sessions that provide materials, strategies, and skills in cutting-edge areas of service-learning. Held on Wednesday, April 11, they provide opportunities to explore subject areas in depth.

Every year, the conference attracts a wide range of engaging speakers from around the country and the world.

Service-Learning Projects and Art & Ambiance
Don't just talk about it. Take action! Take part in meaningful service and service-learning projects, both on-site and around the Twin Cities.

For Youth
Young people are central to the conference. Find out about special youth-focused programs, and get answers to commonly asked questions.

Exhibit Hall
The Exhibit Hall is the epicenter of conference activities, featuring special events, the service-learning showcase, and opportunities to meet representatives from service- and education-oriented nonprofits, companies working with the service-learning field, and national service organizations. It is also the home to breakfasts and lunches and the opening night cultural celebration.

Service-Learning World Forum
Get a new perspective on service-learning. This special Wednesday event engages attendees and international leaders, exploring youth service and service-learning as forces that span cultural and national boundaries.

Serve and Celebrate
Join your fellow conference attendees on Saturday, April 14 as we come together in the Frogtown and surrounding communities of St. Paul to do hands on service and then head to the Mall of America to celebrate Global Youth Service Day!
