Online registration is now closed for Dare to Dream. Onsite registration will open on March 22 at the Disneyland Hotel, Magic Kingdom Ballroom Foyer.

Full-conference admission fees include entry to plenary sessions, workshop sessions, the Exhibit Hall, the Showcase, on- and off-site projects, the Day of Service, Service-Learning Awards Ceremony, as well as designated meals.

Take advantage of group registration by registering your entire group in one transaction. You will be asked to register your primary attendee and at the end of the process you can select “Add Additional Attendee” in order to include the rest of your group in one transaction. You will be asked to select your Preconference choice for each attendee during registration, so please be prepared to select an option (including “Not Attending”) for each attendee before starting the registration process. In order to utilize the group registration discount, you must register all 10 attendees in one transaction.

Terms Of Registration

Submission of your conference registration authorizes NYLC and its partners to publish in any format and use for promotional and educational purposes your name and any photos, videos, and audio recordings taken of you at the conference. It also authorizes NYLC to contact you by mail and email.

Group Admissions

Register as a group for a discount. Groups of 10 or more people receive a 10% discount. Groups must register at the same time, in one transaction. Please enter the code 10SLC2017 during registration.

GSN Member Discount

NYLC's Generator School Network (GSN) members receive a discount code on conference registration. The GSN is an online community committed to providing and advocating for high-quality service-learning experiences for young people around the world. Only one discount maybe used per registration. Scholarship recipients are not eligible for group discounts.

For information on payments by purchase order, please contact NYLC accounting at (800) 366-6952. A $50 processing fee will be charged per purchase order. All purchase orders must be paid prior to the conference.

Cancellation And Refund Policy

We will gladly provide a refund for registrations cancelled on or before February 2, 2017, less a $75 cancellation fee. Cancellations postmarked after that date are not subject to refunds, no exceptions. In rare cases NYLC may allow for the admission fee to be forwarded to the next year’s conference. Individuals or groups who register and do not show up on site ("no shows") are also not subject to refunds. Substitutions are allowed at any time without a fee prior to the late admission deadline. Requests must be made in writing to NYLC via email (, fax, or mail. Substitutions made after March 4, 2017, must be done on-site. A $10 badge reprint charge will be assessed on-site.

All conference presentations will be in English unless otherwise noted. We regret that we are unable to offer on-site translation services at this time.

Chaperoning Young People

Adults bringing youth to the conference should establish behavior expectations and consequences prior to arrival. Adult chaperones are responsible for obtaining and carrying parental permission slips and medical release forms for all youth participants. NYLC encourages a minimum of one adult for every three youth, and emphasizes that adults are responsible for the actions and safety of the youth that they bring.
