For Youth

Young people are central to the conference. The Youth Committee, a group of dedicated young people, works hard to plan special programming and events that engage young people from around the world.

Youth Room

Join youth from all over the world in the Youth Room — a space designed by young people, for young people, as a place to hang out, relax, and meet. The Youth Room is host to great workshops, discussions, and activities geared toward youth.

Visit with and hear from amazing young people in the youth room, during youth-led workshops in both the Youth Track and throughout conference programming, on the plenary stage as they give keynote addresses, during informal conversation at the Networking Breakfasts, and at the Showcase.

Having a Hard Time Sorting Through Workshops?

The Youth Committee puts together a special Youth Track — a schedule of interactive workshops created specifically for young people. You can attend the entire track or just choose the workshops that interest you. (All conference workshops are open to young people, so there are plenty of options.) Youth Track workshops are held in the Youth Room. During the conference, just check your program guide for a full schedule. See you there!

Invisible Leaders…the Youth Committee

You may not always see them, but the Youth Committee is hard at work making sure that each participant gets the best experience they can. The Youth Committee consists of outstanding youth from across the nation. These young people help plan various aspects of the conference such as the Youth Room, youth workshops, and youth entertainment. If you meet them, thank them for their dedication and hard work.

Are you interested in planning the 2015 conference? Do you want to be involved as a youth committee member? Send us an email at and you can help make More Powerful Together the best conference ever!

Become a Youth Emcee

Youth emcees are essential to the success of the plenary sessions. They introduce keynote speakers, set the stage for the day’s session, inform attendees about upcoming events, and keep the audience smiling! Applications are no longer being accepted for #MPT15. Please try again next year.

Have Questions?
Do you have a question about the conference that would be better answered by a young person than an adult? Want to get advice from young people who have attended previous conferences? Just email!
