The conference’s multiple day, concurrent session format offers a self-directed, facilitated learning environment with education sessions, discussion groups and interactive workshops designed specifically for all levels of attendees engaged in service-learning and focused on current and emerging issues, best practices and the challenges facing us today. Both youth and adults come out of the experience with the tools and resources, ideas and inspiration to return home to improve their practice, their schools, and their communities.
The thought leader sessions provide conference participants opportunities to interact with keynote and other major speakers that specialize in specific topic areas. Workshops and thought leader sessions will be held Thursday and Friday, April 10-11. There are more than 100 sessions to choose from.
The conference program guide will provide a brief description of each workshop, level (beginner, immediate, advanced) and primary audience (such as K-12 educators, Higher Ed professionals, youth, etc.), as described by the presenter. These three workshop identifiers will help attendees plan their schedules to get the most from the conference experience. Check back in early 2014 for a listing of workshops.
