A Pre-Conference Session gives you the chance to spend three hours with a nationally-recognized speaker and dig deep into one specific topic. Capitol Hill Day provides a unique opportunity for youth and adults to meet with legislators and educate members of Congress about the critical role of young people.
Speakers and Youth Emcees
Every year, the conference attracts a wide range of engaging speakers from around the country and the world.
Projects in Action
Don't just talk about it — take action! Take part in meaningful service and service-learning projects, both on site and around Washington D.C.
Young people are central to the conference. Find out about special youth-focused programs, and get answers to commonly asked questions.
The Exhibit Hall is the epicenter of conference activities, featuring special events, the showcase, as well as opportunities to meet representatives from service- and education-oriented nonprofits, companies working with the service-learning field, and national service organizations. It is also the place for meals and the opening night welcome celebration.
Day Of Service: Celebrate Global Youth Service Day
We invite all conference attendees to give back to the D.C. community during the Day of Service: A Celebration of Global Youth Service Day. In partnership with YSA (Youth Service America), attendees are encouraged to participate in a service project hosted in the D.C. community.
Monuments by Moonlight
The impressive sight of Washington D.C.’s national monuments illuminated at night is an absolute can’t-miss for your trip to our Nation's Capital.
Capitol Hill Day
Join us for a unique opportunity for adults and students to advocate for youth as solutions by meeting with legislators on Capitol Hill and educating members of Congress about the critical role of youth as solutions and as contributors in communities across the country.
